Vote at GA to Create MidAmerica Region
UUA Board members David Jackoway of the Heartland District, Erik David Carlson of the Central Midwest District, Graham Kreicker of the Prairie Star District, and Kathy Burek, President of the Prairie Star District invite you to General Assembly in Louisville, KY to help make history by approving the first-ever UUA region, the MidAmerica Region.
Heartland Delegates Approve Regionalization
The delegates to the Heartland District Annual Meeting have voted overwhelmingly in support of authorizing regionalization. This is the second of three votes, with the Prairie Star District voting unanimously in favor on April 6th, and Central Midwest District will vote on April 27.
The delegates at the Prairie Star District Annual Meeting also voted to transfer Camp UniStar to the newly forming Camp UniStar Foundation. This summer, any first-time campers from either Heartland or Central Midwest Districts will receive a 10% discount.
